A photographic service to be discovered ...
A beautiful quarry between past and future, a magical place in which to lose yourself and dream. The Quarries of Zovencedo have been for decades the source of supply of the Vicenza White Stone of the Morseletto Laboratory, supplier of artists and architects such as Carlo Scarpa, Frank Gehry and David Chipperfields. The latter was in fact asked to transform the vast space of the quarries, now disused, to convert it into a place intended to host events of various kinds. The interior is very large, characterised by colossal quadrangular pillars that mark the alternation of large rooms and pools of water produced by the infiltration of rainwater. In this magical and extraordinary space, the architects inserted simple platforms and stairways intended for the public, illuminated by a system that enhances the evocative and almost esoteric character of the location, while at the same time emphasising the enormous and imposing dimensions.
