Alivar, a company that has been present on the market for almost 30 years, is an established firm always on the lookout for new furniture solutions that combine stylistic research with technological progress.
Its rich offer of high-quality designer furniture has made Alivar a brand that is known and esteemed on an international level. The company made its debut on the furniture market with the Museum collection: a complete collection of masterpieces by illustrious names that have made their mark on the history of contemporary design (A. Aalto, E. Saarinen, M. Van Der Rohe, I. Noguchi and many more). Alivar then broadened its production by developing other more modern lines with a minimalistic style: Home Project and Brilliant Furniture, by the best designers in Italy.
The Home Project collection, in particular, was entirely designed by designer Giuseppe Bavuso, who holds the position of Art Director in the company.
These furniture solutions are suitable for every room in the house, designed for those who love to surround themselves with refined, high-quality, functional items that will make a highly stylish mark on the home. Fine raw materials are blended to create a unique, modern object capable of bringing refined, distinctive elegance to rooms.
The company, which is already fully certified according to European Community standards, recently added a further major acknowledgement to its collection: the IT01 system – 100% original Italian quality: a brand that guarantees that every Alivar article was made entirely on the Tuscan premises in Tavarnelle Val di Pesa, Florence, the company headquarters, with semi-manufactured products made in Italy, using only natural high-quality, first-choice materials, according to exclusive Alivar designs and plans. The products also conform to safety and hygiene regulations and are made using traditional techniques typical of Italian craftsmanship.
This is a significant result that bears witness to Alivar’s constant commitment to the global promotion of the Tuscan and Italian territories, with 100% Made-in-Italy products.
At the 2011 Salone del Mobile, the company presents new, sophisticated, refined furniture solutions for the day and night areas of the house, all designed by Giuseppe Bavuso: the DOROTHEA, SHANGHAI and WAVY bookcases, the DHALIA armchair, the BOARD dining table, the BLOOM_MAXI and PUB coffee and side tables, the PORTOFINO and BAHIA sofas, the JOIN bed and the KUBE bedroom complements.
