The Hotel Le Mèridien Art + Tech at Turin's Lingotto, designed by Renzo Piano, is completely furnished with pieces by masters of the 20th ecntury and of contemporary design. Le Corbusier designed the armchairs made of chromium-plated steel tubes with polyurethane-padded cushions covered with black leather. The elegant composition is completed by the coffee table by Saarinen made of white-lacquered aluminium alloy, topped with white marble (or laminate). |
